Recent development of gravimeter research in China

The recent progress in development of precise gravimetry instruments in China are discussed in this paper, including the present research situation and outlook of the air/sea gravimeter based on the inertial elements, the absolute gravimeter based on the cold atomic and free-fall principle, and the superconducting gravimeter in view of the superconducting technology.
